I would suggest therapy

I would suggest not caring. Why do people seem to give a rat's *** what kind of computer I use? I don't ask anyone what kind of hammer they use ("Stanley? No one uses those! They're so overpriced!") and I don't care what kind of motorcycle you drive.

But plenty of people seem more than willing to try and make fun of/belittle me because of something as idiotic as who makes the computer I type on. And then, when I ask them why they feel that way or believe what they do, they try and deflect. Why? Because they really have no good reason for feeling or believing what they do. It's just something they "know".

Believe me, that says more about them than it does about me.
