Although we joke and poke at each other here, disagree with another, or help each other by our experiences, its good to know we are human and care enough to share our pain. Thanks for sharing, get well soon!

Man that is some story. I would almost keep my collarbone problem if it would avoid ever having to go through something like that.

Glad it is over and you are doing better.

Get well soon.

Dave emailed me today before he took his dose of meds (read: while he had some mental acquity). He hasn't had the time or mental awareness to come to the forum, but thanks everyone for their support (I emailed him). Once he gets through the first round of recovery and can sit and type for more than a few moments, he'll be here: Live and in person!

His plans are to be at WFO in Reno. His desire is to ride the bike. :yahoo: Di may bring all the "stuff" in the car and Dave would ride the bike in it's naked state. Regardless, they will be in Reno. The tone of his email was much clearer and upbeat today. Keep getting better, my friend.

I was thinking that Tim was doing just fine without any, er, extracurricular help. :wackosmiley: :upsidedwnsmiley: :stunned:  hee-hee-hee-hyuck-hyuck!
Oh, I wasn't thinking of them for myself... ;) Me, I'm goofey enough without happy pills.

:dribble: Scary story Dave. I could have nightmares tonight from that one.

I want to sing you a little song from a Seinfeld episode,

"Get well, get well soon, we want you to get well. Get well, get well soon we want you to get well."
:D

Thanks, thanks, thanks for the thoughts and prayers, they are well received and much appreciated, it all helps the healing, both the mental and physical.

I'd love to reply to each one but it'd take days at the rate I'm pecking away at. ( except for Smitty, ******* hurt me with that testicle joke ! :D )

This is what I love about this board, not only do people share the tech side of things freely, but the human compasion for all the life events that happen to everyone is what make the true spirt of a great BB.

Things are progressing great I think, I actually slept seven straight hours and woke up in the same position I fell asleep in ! I haven't slept seven hours in a row in almost two years !! Who hoo ! :)

But honestly, it was really hard to type it all down, being a manly man and all ! : ) B)

But if it helps someone along the way it's all good, hey the birds are singing, my toes are wiggling, can't get much better !

SO then, after months of idle and neglect, do we need to plan a bike-polishing party at your house to get the FJR ready for the first ride? B)

I was wondering the same thing Ovale. You beat me to it.

Hey HighLander... let us know how you're doing? I hope you're just too busy with rehab and getting well to post up and not because the agony continues. Prayers with ya bud.

Time for an update, Bro. How are you progressing? What activities are you up to. We have been wondering. TJ

Hey guys.... things are working out well, no seizures or anything like that, everything is getting back to normal, just walking a lot ( up to a whole 1/4 mile ! ), no rehab planned for a month per the doc because of where he had to cut, walking only permitted at this point. So it's all cool so far, cutting back on the meds, sleeping like a normal human, staring at the bike under it's cover, normal stuff ! Life's good ! :D

Good to hear you're on your way back. Hope to see you on the bike again then we know all is well. PM. <>< B)
