How clean should the gear oil be

Hm.....I'm thinking of a filtration system for the rear final drive....I wonder what kind of pump would be best suited for it?

Every 16K or 24 months according to yammi. I actually change mine more frequently than 16K, and oil changes for that matter. I mean how easy is it to do and what does it cost? You flog your bike, cheap insurance to change early IMO.

What month decade is this? Can Brundog finally change his?

Now you know making a dumb ass statement like this is just plain stupidity on your part?

I always change mine by 9.63 miles, just to be on the safe side, but I will go as far as 14 miles if a trailer is involved.

I have aquired many a bottles of Mobil 1 gear oil. I will pass one onto any rider who happens on the 15 freeway through Hesperia/Victorville area. ---And no being "anal-retentive" is not a pre req....

I'm going to change the gear oil. I see mentioned here Mobil 1.....assuming synthetic?

Can someone give me the correct weight and spec's needed......I'll try and pick up a bottle this weekend. Thanx
