Well, in light of today's news, I felt it imperative to keep the tone of the board going for my twisted sister [SIZE=8pt]and ya, she'll hurt me if I don't :blink: , when she's able[/SIZE]

Better watch it Barb, when Tyler gets better she's going give you hell for calling her the twisted one - she told me YOU were the twisted one.

At her age, I can still outrun her...

Didn't I just read a post from some guy who complained that the dealership broke-off his glovebox cover because they forced it open. Part of that post said you needed to have the key in the ignition and switched 'on' to be able to open it.

My 03 doesn't have the box obviously so I don't know what I'm talking about but my point is: If buddy is correct and you need the key to open the box, what good is having your spare key in there?

My thoughts exactly. So, this was from an old thread, but what does everyone (today) keep in your box? I keep my Xena disc alarm, my ownership/insurance papers, and a Carbon Fibre sidestand plate, and a tire guage for riding buddies who have the need and forget to do pre-ride tire pressure checks.

And yes the Xena is a hot little ***** when I have been riding for a while.

Thanks Barb. I needed that. As for the FJR's box, it fried the battery and something electonic in my old cell phone. I don't put anything with batteries or electronics in there any more. As for Barb's box, I don't know if she uses devices with batteries....
