How many '06's you looking to buy?

Stopped by my local "superstore" dealer this afternoon, to get a couple tires mounted on my '05 fjr. While I was waiting, and checking out the showroom......I come across 2 2006 AE's and 3 A's. Somewhat surprised, I asked a salesman why they had so many fjr's on the floor, and he tells me they have 20 AE's in stock for $12,499.00 and 6 A's priced at $13,200! I says....I thought the AE's were supposed to cost considerably more than the A....he says......"we're runnin a special!" So much for all the waiting I've been hearing about! :blink:

Wow! What a huge windfall for the dealership! 26 people forfeited $500 a piece. Man, I can see how the dealership feels so good about that, they're having a sale!

My understanding was that Yamaha made more than were ordered and dealers could buy them for stock.

But still 20 seems like a LOT. Specially this time of year.

Well, since he has "Leetonia, OH" under his name, I think I'd start by using the Yellow Pages and find a dealer near there who has some FJRs for sale.

Yes....I tend to ride more than I post.....guess thats why I had to drop hard earned dineros at the dealer today. I just love giving some young punk $53.01 to scratch my previously pristine front wheel. Anyhow, salesman told me that the dealer forked over the $500.00 for each bike they have in stock. This is a huge.....very impersonal(is that a word?) :blink: "superstore" type dealer in Salem Ohio.
