Well, the pump price in Lafayette jumped $0.10 yesterday virtually city wide. That's a 7% one day hike. It had not fallen 10 cents over the past 3 weeks.

The February spot price on crude (which was refined and is being sold now) fell more than 9% on average compared to the January spot price. The winter refinery maintenance is almost over (if not done), and the storage tanks are dam near over full anyway. Last time I checked the weather, there were no hurricanes in the gulf. Last time I checked the news, the situation in the Middle East was unchanged.

Talk about too big to fail.....

This is like Boardwalk Empire shit....

(sigh)

Still under $2.00. Most of the time you can find it about $1.80 is you have the Gas Buddy App. It gives updated prices of local gas stations. Usually accurate, I use it on the truck, but not in the bike. The truck takes around 18 gallons usually to fill, so traveling a mile or so is worth the potential saving of 3.5 dollars. The FJR is not that important to save less than a buck.

Posted in wrong thread. Sorry.

(Edit: But since I posted, still climbing slowly and steadily hereabouts. $2.19 for 87 @Costco--cheapest place I know.)
