On a ride with 5 other bikes a month ago, I was the 3rd rider, and when the leader made an unexpected stop in a curve, I ended up stopping in the road with a significant slope. By the time my left foot hit the ground, the FJR was already on its way to the ground - at 0 MPH. We had just stopped for gas, were on a 2 day ride (luggage)and now the FJR was on its side, on the wrong side of a slope. It took all six of us to get the FJR back on the rubber side. Sometimes, friends are an important part of the solution.
If the Spyder is on it's side, I'd have much bigger problems than trying to right it. :blink:But howdaya pick up a Spyder?
Friends are always an important part of the ride, imo...

I had my FJR roughly 16 hours, tried to hop a side walk to park her, in the middle of it I stopped, dumbest idea I could ever come up with, since my legs couldn't touch the ground, she went down at 0 mph.....Well I picked her up, had a few scratches, in which my pride was bruised more, fun part, the security camera of my riding buddies business picked it up.... guess who had the laughs for that day on his side <_<
Oh I forgot, my wife rides a Spyder Rt too, I call it the car in disguise , we tried hard to lift one leg at hers, without turning all electronic gizmo off, we couldn't make that happen, so I think you're save.

Ha, what a *****! Trying lifting a KLR while it's on your leg- my neighbor did when he borrowed mine. He tipped it over on himself in his driveway and had to yell for help. :blink:
