On the 9th I'll riding up to UC Santa Cruz for some buisness and expect to ride through some rain. Will my change of clothes and stuff stay dry?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is stnkbait and I'm your chief ride attendant. ... We suggest that you keep your helmets fastened throughout the ride, ... Also, your hardbags can be used as an emergency, temporary flotation device. ...
Thanks to everyone for your two cents! I feel I won’t need to bag up everything inside the hard bags. If I have a leakage problem with them, I’ll chalk it up to a defective seal and go from there.Jes' tryin' tuh hep.Rainproof for sure.

Yes Sir, I work at UCR, Network Services Manager for Computing & Communications. I am going to get a tour of UCSC's pinnacle software and how they use it. What do you do for UC Berkeley?Hey, Stnkbait, what's your business at UCSC? You work for the system by any chance? I work at UC Berkeley.
As everyone else has said, although I've ridden in some nasty chit, never a problem with the bags or Givi trunk letting in water. Now, my riding apparel, that's a whole different problem. But if you're concerned, throw everything in a plastic shopping bag.

Cool. I work in the controller's office: manager, controls and accountability. Hey, how about the BS of not being able to expense your motorcycle mileage on UC (or any state) business?! We need to get organized and overturn that!Yes Sir, I work at UCR, Network Services Manager for Computing & Communications.
