dr appointment this morning.after leaving sitting at a red light in riverside looking east,right in front of my eyes goes a riverside motorcycle officer,looks at me,nods his head then I realize,hey wait.that aint no pos Honda,hey wait that's no exploding rear drive bmw.it was a shiny black and white YAMAHA FJR 1300.

power to the people !

Uh oh..........imagine the ticket writing carnage that can be unleashed on an unsuspecting city used to lesser scoots...............it's not going to be pretty..................

That was an interesting link to see the motor cop's viewpoints. Not something we often see on this forum.

Pretty much what I expected, though, most of them are completely ********: Buy American. FJR is uncomfortable for long days in the saddle (just ask the IBR guys, right?), Like the style of the HDs, FJR is too much like a crotch rocket.

Whatever...

 
And this was my favorite.

The BMW is still my favorite. It's a bigger bike for my height, stops on a dime and has the crumple zone.

WTF over.

Since when do a buy a bike which is made to crumple?

You could mistake an FJR for a "crotch rocket" kinda....but never a Harley for one!!

Just saw a thing the other day about the Police models being sent to the US and tested. Not sure where it will go, but it sounds promising.
