While the lean angle is not as steep, I still like this picture of Reuben Xaus testing the Duc HyperMotard.

And the flip side:

Lesson- stick your foot out like that an you can keep your FJR up during your drifts.

Great picture. Every picture of me, I think I am leaned like that and then I see it only to think that I am a *****.

What do the knee of a hypermotard rider and fresh meat at the penitentiary have in common?

Both know that being forced to go the other way as they're slammed to the pavement really, really sucks.

Got skills?

I have that same ability...in my mind. Like Barry, the truth is, I'm lucky to survive my own stupidity in a more relaxed application. I don't think I could get my knee that close to the ground on a mini-bike....if I could even fit on one!

Couple years ago riding in Wales I got my knee on the ground while riding a VFR...come to think of it I had both knees...and my shoulder...and my head. Actually I am not sure this is relevant to the thread. :glare:

Come out to the Hondarosa for a weekend, Barry. I'll have you dragging bars in the dirt corners on a yz in no time. And you won't crash (much, err, often, uhh, well, to be honest, you will crash until you learn)..

Great photo. I see a SuperMoto bike in my future. I've not yet learned how to back a bike in, consistently, under control. I've backed the FJR in a couple of times, but it was a scary rather than fun experience. And YES, you can back an FJR into a corner, slide the rear, and live through it.

here is my current favorites (from RoadRacing World's web site)
Stoner @ Qatar

Nicky - preseason @ Jerez

Man the off season is too long...
Two really excellent photographs. I can't decide which I like more. I think I'll need to snag both.
OH come on

Stoner all the way.

Go Aussie Go.. You get em boy..

He'll take it again this year.. I just don't know how he sits on that bike with such huge balls..
Isn't traction control a wonderful thing :dribble:

Of course that smokin heel is cool too B)

Did you notice the protective sliders on the bottom of the forks on the Supermoto??

The picture of Stoner is one of the best I have seen. The colour of the bike is stunning under the lights.

Edit. It's on my desktop already!
