The old alma mater is going to give me a heart attack if they keep playing this way. Can't we just get one blowout? It would be better for my health if they just lost.

You hate them!??!?!?

At least my AU Tigers took them to the very last second. Still a loss.

And. . . . . .: Notre Dame loses again!!!! Yippee!!!!!

The game that wouldn't end finishes the streak that wouldn't end!

(That means 3 overtimes to get the first win in 43 meetings.)

BC lost, now we will be back to #2 (probably). If Michigan can do their job we might be seeing each other pigster! :clapping:

Guess I better lay off the fatty foods for the rest of the season.

Les should be coaching UNLV with the gambles he has taken TY. I still hope LSU hands it to OSU in the NC game if they make it....I would enjoy watching OSU go 0-10 against the SEC in bowl games.

+1

I was pulling for LSU.

Now If LSU can loose to Arkansas and Ol'miss, MY Tigers will set pretty in the SEC.

Oh darn, Ohio State lost. Shucks.
:D

Go Ducks!
These days being ranked #1 or #2 is not a good thing! I wonder where the ducks will be, there was some sportscaster talking about Oregon leapfrogging LSU. Don't remember who it was, I changed the channel!

I heard that comment, too. I don't think it will happen. Oregon is idle until Thursday night at Arizona. I expect LSU to clobber L Tech tonight so a leapfrog would be a surprise tomorrow. I agree, though, it is a little bittersweet to be so high in the rankings. Seems it comes with a bigger bullseye than usual this year...but we'll still take it !! :p

Okay...so things did not go so well for my Ducks tonight. Crap. Looks like we're facing the loss of Dixon for the rest of the year. That is almost a guaranteed two more losses...here is a recap of my thoughts.

2nd half kicks off, Jason has managed to suppress most of his nausea from the first half and remains hopefully optimistic...

ESPN's Erin Andrews has taken up residence on the Arizona side of the field. That's a bad sign.

Brady Leaf does his best impression of the statue play (not the Statue of Liberty, just the statue part).

Oregon kicks a field goal.

Leaf feigns injury in a desperate attempt to get the mystery redshirt freshman quarterback into the game and provide himself with a piss poor excuse when interviewed after the loss. It doesn't work and the misery continues.

Jason vomits again as the 700th turnover is committed by Leaf.

Oregon kicks a field goal. Jason lifts his forehead from the table to look up at the TV briefly. Hey, maybe that kicker knows how to throw a pass...

The Ducks fake a punt and run 45 yards. A light at the end of the tunnel appears. The play is reviewed and the Ducks lose the ball. Again. The light goes out. Jason sees the punter mumbling to himself on the sideline that he could have punted it at least 46 yards.

The officials review a play for the 200th time. The review results in an unfavorable ruling for the Ducks for the 200th time.

Jason begins dry heaving.

With six minutes to go, Leaf appears to think there are three quarters left and attempts his 6th two-yard pass in a row. He made one of them. Thank God for Snoop (Jonathan Stewart).

Snoop disappears, never to be seen again. Tucson mafia? Only reasonable explanation in my current state of mind.

Leaf's has-been brother, Ryan, tells the ESPN crew that he isn't even talking to his brother he's quarterbacking the game. Is that good or bad? Not sure...

With three minutes to go, the Arizona stands empty into the sideline. Maybe the Ducks can still pull out a solid two minute drill? They only need two touchdowns...

Jason breaks into hysterical and maniacal laughter over that last thought.

The game ends. Jason hopes the Tucson mafia will take Leaf in a prisoner exchange for Snoop prior to UCLA next weekend.

Conclusions

Arizona's Coach Stoops is as big a baby as his brother at Oklahoma is.

Jaison Williams still can't catch, ten games into the season.

Leaf might have done better had his shoes been as cool as Dennis Dixon's.

The highlight of the night was every time Erin Andrews came on the screen, no matter what side of the field she stood on.

The curse of #2 is real.

Gunny to all of the above. Williams would've bailed Leaf out if he coulda caught even half the balls that hit him in the hands.

So true. We might have squeaked out a win if that were the case.

Here's hoping to an ASU loss next weekend and a win over Oregon State on 12/1, then we're Rose Bowl bound. I can't wait to see Brady Leaf take on Ohio State....groannnn...
