Last nite received an E Mail that made my day.

Dear Fred

You are receiving this e-mail because of your application for a ride certification. This note is to let you know that your ride has been approved.......

I am planning a BB in the fall when the weather cools off some.

edit: Found Your Ride Report on May 16, '09

hey Fred, how long did it take to be certified after the run ??? looks like 6-7 weeks

when did you send in the documentation ? looks like right away

any concerns that their might be a hiccup in the documentation ?

did they contact anyone who were witnesses or were included in the documentation ?

enquiring minds want to know

let's ride safe and be careful out there,

The hardest thing was finding a day that had no commitments or projects that needed done.

Did the ride the Saturday before Memorial Day, and didn't send the paperwork in for 2 weeks.

So about 5 weeks now and the ride documents is supposed to be 3 more weeks.

I don't think so, they sent IBA membership number and pin number and said feel free to shop the IBA store.

did they contact anyone who were witnesses or were included in the documentation ?

I don't think so, my wife and daughter were my start and finish witnesses (left home, to gas station and then on trip. When came back, before home, same gas station. So I had receipts start and finish, and several way points along the way. Actually could have made better time on a straight line, not having to stop for 1/2 tanks)

Now, I want to do some more. Those not inclined don't understand, not so sure I do either.

enquiring minds want to know

Congrats. What are the numbers up to these days. Back when I got mine (9339) I thought that was a huge number but must be in the 5 digit category now I suppose.
