The units I saw mounted on his '05 FJR looked like the Blinder M-25s.

Nah. He'd only overload them and risk his warranty.

Looks like a handful in a cross-wind, though perhaps the sail power helps compensate ?

I just saw him on Tuesday and his bike looks about the same, maybe a little bit cleaner but not much. He also had his saddle bags on, so it looked a little bit better than that pic. I wish I had taken a pic while he was there, oh well maybe next time.
