Yamaha FJR1300

You scored 1 moxie, 8 zeal, and 0 pomp!

"You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding.

You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday?"

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 22% on moxie

You scored higher than 70% on zeal

You scored higher than 25% on pomp

Surprise. Sheet! This thing's rigged! B) I coulda figured the FJR is the bike for me... I knew that before Yammie even conceived it!

I qualified too...

You scored higher than 20% on moxie

You scored higher than 85% on zeal

You scored higher than 37% on pomp

Now to go ride some more...It's only 100 out there so far.

Said that I was suited for the FJR.

The wife took the test and wound up with a "883 Sportster". She answered that she has ridden over 100 mph, and that she doesn't like Harleys. She's pissed! She rides a sweet little Honda Magna that will kick the shit out of anything that Harley makes, with the exception of the V-Rod. And even then, the V-Rod quarter mile time is only a tenth of a second quicker.

Bananas!

Bananas is right! I made it less than halfway through before deciding it was a waste of time - who needs a lame test to tell you what to ride?

Well crap... according to this I'm on the wrong forum.

Yamaha YZF R1You scored 7 moxie, 6 zeal, and 1 pomp!

You're addicted to speed, but have the knowledge and experience to match. Although you like to win, you don't really care so much about competing with others as much as competing with yourself.

Your bike is the Yamaha YZF R1. Given how easily the rear wheel on this beast spins up coming out of turns, it is fortunate that you constantly work to improve your skills. (I've seen more R1s crash at track days than any other bike.)

It was a close decision with the Suzuki GSXR1000, but your personality seemed a bit more R1-ish. (But hey, I could be wrong. Its only a silly test.)

My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 81% on moxie

You scored higher than 51% on zeal

You scored higher than 48% on pomp

What the @#$*??? I never did like statistics anyhow.

Harley 883 Sportster

You scored 4 moxie, 3 zeal, and -3 pomp!

You scored dead center average, lacking any of the personality quirks that normally drive people to motorcycling.

However, if you do ride, statistics would suggest that you are destined for a Harley-Davidson, probably something in the Softail line.

ouch.

What the heck does that mean? At least I understood that I qualified for the FJR but that is a given! :)

Yamaha FJR1300

You scored 5 moxie, 10 zeal, and -1 pomp!

You scored higher than 33% on moxie

You scored higher than 66% on zeal

You scored higher than 0% on pomp

Why did I take this test? I already knew the FJR was the best bike for me, now if I can only get my hands on an R1.

Wow,

said I should be riding an R-1

7- moxie 6- zeal -2 pomp

I almost bought one 2 years ago, but opted for the FZ-1 instead.

That was an outstanding motorcycle! But could'nt gear it up for the long haul without making it look cluttered. I trade it in for the FJR. Now I feel like I still have the FZ-1 but with full wind protection and nice bags for my stuff. :D
