Is it Friday? This seems like a Fooking Friday Thread...

I'd post about my encounter with two asshats on Sportsters, But I've already told that story... B)

The last ORIGINAL idea Hardley Ridable had was arguably in 1950? Okay, okay, okay, they may have more recently invented a more black black. They do have cool calendars though.

"The Highwayman." Great song, performed by Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash as--guess who? The Highwaymen.

.
Lyrics, first verse:

I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride

With sword and pistol by my side

Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade

Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade

The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five

But I am still alive.

So with apologies to Waylon, Willie and the Boys, and to Jimmy Webb, who wrote it, and after giving JB a couple days to provide an alternative response, I offer the following (and hope somebody will link it back to that Hardley site).

"The Hardleyman"

I am a Hardley Man, In ass-less chaps and beanie cap I ride

Often pulling to the side

Many a barmaid had to clean up a mess I made

Many a mechanic worked on my bike in the shade

My golden fillings and all my chrome have shaken loose

I can't outrun a Moose.
