OK, so I just got a new Declaration page for proof of insurance for 'the void' rally.

I know rates vary by carrier, limits and certainly location.

For what it's worth I have:

State Farm:

100/300 Bodily Injury/Property Damage

$100 Deductible on Comprehensive (theft, vandalism, fire, etc.)

$500 Deductible on Collision

100/300 Uninsured Motorist

Rate: $338.12/Year

(The Collision coverage itself is 1/2 of the total at $166.97)

It's worth noting that I also have 3 other vehicles, a couple trailers, and the house also covered by Mother Farm, and I find this to be very reasonable.

That is a good rate. I think my Progressive bill is just under $500 for both bikes and IIRC, the collision and comp are at least half the ticket.

I, too, have State Farm. I would have to pull out the paper work to see what the rate is exactly, but I do recall it was significantly less than the competition at the time I purchased the policy.

The best factor which hasn't been mentioned: When I totalled the FJR, they paid me more for the bike than I had paid originally. :)

I got a great rate through State Farm also. It's all about them insuring all the vehicles & the house. They seem pay up unlike some of these internet companies.

We too have everything covered by state farm, and IIRC that's about the same rate on the fjr. The only thing about state farm is after my 17 yo wrecked my truck twice in a week, they wouldn't cover her or allow her to drive any of our covered vehicles. go figgure it.
