Long time FJR owner - I have a 2010 Yamaha FJR1300 since new. It now has 45k miles. Not too many mods except for handle bar riser. I basically ride it like a sport bike / minus side top cases.
Great bike, comfortable, low maintenance especially with the shaft drive as opposed to my last bike which was a 2000 Honda CBR1100XX. I do think that the Honda CBR's linked braking system was much better but oh well.
