Cooler heads must prevail. It is what it is. From attending EOM last year a lot of people worked hard to make it happen. Not to mention all the free time they spent putting it together. Let's remember these are all Volunteers putting this effort together. A couple of suggestions for you NM.
1) there must be a death in the family around the scheduled time and you need time off.

2) Hunta virus and your quarantined and can't get to work.

Anyone else want to help out NMroadrunner here?

More suggestion please!
Just tell them you have anal glaucoma.....

You can't see your *** going to work that week! :unknw:

Thanks Bob, I am positive there are things that we will need help with.

Set the coffee cup down and wait like everybody else is. If you can't make it, you can't make it...but don't go off on the people doing the work to plan this. Have some respect, you wouldn't have gone off on TWN like this would you?
Good post.

My NAFO streak will also stop at one, but I'm not whining at the people doing the work.

Life goes on and the world does not stop turning.
Amen to that FJR bro!
Heidi,

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Even if I can't make it! Of course that would be hell or high water. Wait...that was EOM '09.... :Snorkle:

:battery:
OK OK I took my meds. I am calm now. :calm:

Bob: I will take your lead.

Heidi,

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help, even if its setting up chairs or bring the Makers Mark for all.

Maker's Mark for all??? Got my interest. Quite generous for someone that doesn't even imbibe! You do it for the entertainment value right?

How about some barbeque? :cheff:

I apologize to ALL I have offended, my first post was really meant to be "Tounge in Cheek", but I got carried away if you will. I belive I misunderstood what direction this event was going. I sat and talked with the event orginizers in Golden CO. And at that time they wanted this to become a real National event, with music, vendors, demo rides, swap meet/motorcycle show ect. ect. Something that takes alot of time to plan and pull off. A real destination event like those I mentioned. Again I apologize for being an A**hole. I wish the orginizers all the luck in the world with this event, and I'll mind my own business from now on. :dribble:

................. Also, the venues that we've been looking at had local football going on nearby that usually have the hotels nearby booked that particular weekend (3rd in September). Jay & I are looking at the last weekend of that month for NAFO purposes. September 24, 25 & 26.
So, here's what I was thinkin'

if I can find the town where there are local football events are going on during the 3rd weekend of September, I may be able to take an educated guess as to the location of the 2010 NAFO?

I better get busy googling.....

I can't speak for everyone, but I accept your apology as a peace token. I have said to others before that it is very easy to misread emotion in the printed word. I am just glad that everyone exercised some restraint.

As for the meet, it is something organized by volunteers that come from this diverse group of friends. It is very difficult for anyone that has a full time job, family, other hobbies, etc. to set aside enough time to do just the hotel and meeting logisitics. I'll volunteer to take over that role full time if anyone wants to pony up my salary so I can quit my current job! :specool:

It will be too bad for you, or anyone, that wants to go and will not be able to make it. I hope you will be there with us in spirit and be able to at least experience it through great pictures and ride reports that will be posted afterwards. I can't guarantee that I will be able to make it!

Happy riding.....come on spring!!!

I missunderstood your post. You did say "bring" not "buy". Darn! $10 is an awesome price, so I will probably take you up on that at some point! :drinks:

any date yet ? If its been said, I didn't have time to read the whole post.........................

LOOKING FORWARD TO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jax, EOM & NAFO are one in the same this year since the eastern seaboard is hosting NAFO. We've pretty much narrowed hotel searching & expect an announcement will be made by week's end. The meet is slated to take place September 24, 25 & 26. As normal EOM fair, arriving on Thursday the 23rd is highly encouraged in order to ride all day Friday the 24th.

If you're waiting for an EOM announcement, well... you'll probably be waiting until next year. ;)

I'm glad you're excited & I am certainly looking forward to seeing you again,

Heidi
