From a current Cycle Trader ad.....

THE K1200GT WILL MAKE THE FJR CURL UP IN THE CORNER AND WIMPER FOR MERCY

Has anyone witnessed this?

Current issue of Rider evaluates the two and picks the FJR. First article I've read that ignored the AE and compared to the GT.

It's a nice way of getting the term 'FJR' in your ad for your K1200GT when people are searching on 'FJR'...

"Will make Vi-AGRA curl up and chimney CELEB-REX for FJR corner PRES-CRIPTION need."

Naturally.....Best Motorcycle in the World -- if you don't believe it, just ask 'em. ;)

I test-rode a 1200 GT and was not impressed anymore than I am by my '05 FJR. I'd love to catch one out on the road

I too test rode a 1200 GT and I would still take my '05 FJR even if they were the same price. The GT felt more tour oriented than the FJR and offered greater wind protection with its larger windshield and fairing, but didn't feel as flickable as the FJR. And those brakes felt absolutely wooden; powerful but no feel to them. I don't think the bike was any faster either.

It needs to drop in price by $6k to be a valid concern. Until then it's just another bike that doesn't matter to me.
