I am kicking around the idea of getting an FJR,

and they have an 2007 model sitting on the show room floor for 11,400...

Well they have two really both silver, both AE...

one has the PC removed but the dealer says he will have it replaced and the bike will be fully up and runnning at purchase...

it does show zero miles on it, but it just won't start right now w/o the CPU.

The other they are asking 11,900... but the said he would give it up for the 11,400 if i wanted to take it today...

Only thing is I am not real crazy about the service at the dealership, they are known for being well overpriced. slow, and not customer friendly...trying to get waited on there is a nightmare.( I took my jet ski there in the past and hear the stories from lots of others...

Also if they have sat on the floor for that long is there issues that have not come up that will a few miles down the road?

I know I can get an 08 at another shop for 17,900 out the door....

Not sure which way to go with it.......

Yes… Looks like a good deal to me. I picked up an 07AE about a month ago for 11,924 here in CA. I wouldn’t sweat the PC… but since the said they sell the other for the same. Either way I think it’s a good deal.

For me, the 08's are nice but not too much different to warrant the price increase... kinda like buying used but it's still new! :yahoo:

That sounds like a good deal.

More disconcerting is the 17900 price tag of an 08. Thats about 4,000 too much.

Paid $14,100 tt&l out the door for my 06'. $11,400 is a great price! Take it. I drive almost 3 hours to Yamaha of SA for tire changes because of the bad customer service in my area. They're on the North side of SA on 35 and would be worth the drive. You might call Robert to see if they have anything on the floor there.

Just tell me where the dealership is and I'll get it. Geez, I hope I don't sound too anxious.

I paid 15,900 for mine, hell yes it is a good deal what are you waiting for.
Same here but to make myself feel better it was last year. Now I wish I would have waited and save the $4K. Of course if I had waited I would ended up paying the $17K for a 08. I don't see myself winning here.

Searched for a month and found a dealer in Port Washington, WI who sold me my 07 AE FJR 2 months ago for $10,500 and the 4 yr warranty for $459. No delivery or set up fee. (zero miles)
