Sold FJR and bought 09 R1 because my wife likes riding so much that she is getting a 09 FZ6R for herself.
That's my favorite part of the story.
What he's not telling you is that I moved allll the way over there from Omahell so that there would be another FJR in Johnson county...then he bails on me (stupid wife) and sells the FJR.

******* :glare:

Have fun with that one... I've put on 700 miles already this year...see the FJR is better :p

Damn you man. I was very seriously concidering the yellow R1 but went with the FJR. Everyone said I was too old to be ridding a crotch rocket. The FJR is paid for, so maybe I'll save up for a down payment on a 2010 model...

The pipes sound great BTW. I did get to test ride the white R1. What a ride!!!!!!!! Congrats man.

Thanks man!!! Your never too old!!! :yahoo:

Nice Bike. Even has it's own official "drip blankee" but I doubt that bike will drip anything for quite awhile.
My buddy's got SN:0006 (6th bike off the line). We went out riding. After about 30 min we stopped to decide where to go next. His started pouring coolant out onto the pavement. Not just drops. Probably 1-2 cups of it. Lucky we were on a slope and the coolant ran away from the tires. Anyway, we kept riding, keeping an eye on the temp gauge. Got back to the shop and had it checked out. Either it was overfilled, or the thermostat stuck. No problems since. Great bike. Wish I had the $ and back for one.

Somehow I missed this thread the first time around. +1 on great looking bike. You should have had quite a few good rides in by now. Must have been horrible having to wait for some decent weather and clear roads...

I must say though, those passenger pegs are a riot. A pillion rider would have to be a gymnast or a 6 year old. ;)

Congrats on the bike (and the wife).
