Well my baby finally arrived a few weeks ago. Been busy as hell with work and the weather hasn't been very ride friendly but I have gotten in about 100 miles on this bike.

Haven't really opened her up fully since its still in break in cycle and the roads are sandy as hell. :angry2:

Ergo's: Feels like your on an R6

Handling: So far seems very nimble, turn in is quick and stable.

Power: Switching from the different modes shows major differences in this bike. B Mode is very tame and would be great in the rain. STD Mode is Dr. Jekyl and A Mode is Mr. HYDE!!! In A Mode the throttle is very crisp and responcive to on and off throttle movements of wrist. Takes a delicate hand to run this mode. Low end power in A mode is really strong.

The new gauge cluster is AWESOME!! Love the info that is given and it is very easy to read.

The bike sounds absolutely sick!! I mean like turning heads of the people on the sidewalks sick!!

Can't wait to get the full Leo system on this bike!!

Can't wait to get some clean roads, warmer weather for tire temps and some yummy curves to eat up!!

Big *** blinkers removed and waiting for Gregg's Fairing Plugs to come available.

Marker lights bulbs changed to amber and converted to blinkers.

Took off the big *** mud flap and the tag relocater should be here this week!!

Leo Vince full exhaust

Bazzaz Fuel Management

Graves Smog Block Off Plates

Double Bouble Tinted Screen

Fairing Plugs

Tag Relocator

Integrated Tail Light

Sato Rearsets

Galfer SS Braided Brake Lines and Pads

Etc.... :yahoo:

Nice Bike. Even has it's own official "drip blankee" but I doubt that bike will drip anything for quite awhile.

That's sweet! Don't shoot yer eye out.

My nephew rode an R6 for three years, then got an R1. He crashed it within three weeks....

This will be my 4th R1 so I'm good to go. :D

Thanks!

Wow, that thing looks evil! Did they make a raven model this year?

Still never ridden a true litre bike (gsx-r, R1, CBR1000) but I had a FZ1 with lots of mods that was probably somewhere close. I can't even imagine running that thing to red line 4 gears in a row!!!

Hoi Congrats!!

We were waiting here in anticipation for it to arrive, just to hear there is a 7000 USD mark up from the 08 model!!

Our exchange rate is a bit bad at the moment. Everyone here is drooling over the bike, but nobody is buying it.......

Will ride my R1 till the prices come down.

Enjoy, and be safe!!!

Is that thing in your living room or what?

Lower finished level of our duplex that is attached to garage so the bike sits in the warmth during the cold months. :yahoo:

Wot happened to the other 3?

Sold the 03 because of Divorce. :angry2:

Traded the 06 in on Vmax after shoulder Surgery went bad. :angry2:

Bought 07 after 2nd surgery fixxed shoulder.

Sold 07 for FJR because new wife really liked riding and two up for 400 plus miles sucks on a R1. LOL

Sold FJR and bought 09 R1 because my wife likes riding so much that she is getting a 09 FZ6R for herself.

That is one bad *** bike :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Thanks!!! I really am impressed with this bike so far!! :yahoo:

The tail section, exhaust and heat shields reminds me a lot of my 06 Zx10R.

Sweet looking bike!
