I finally finished my Fjr!!!!!!! I also added a radiator guard, SS brake lines, philips bulbs and my electrosport stator. It took a little longer than anticipated, but what doesn't?

That "little" spot is from the wife kicking the oil pan out of her way, she never read up on fluid dynamics <_< . Finished just in time for some really nice weather too.

Just wanted to say thanks to all on this board. If it weren't for your contributions I'd have probably lost the bike due to damage estimate from the stealership($7200 quote). Illinois won't allow you to buy back a total unless it's 7yrs old. What fun though, frustrating at times but seeing everything come together at the end is great! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!! Oh 96 hrs w/o a cigarette on top of having my FJR back in running condition :yahoo:

Congrats on getting the bike back together! And getting the monkey off your back.

Congrats on the "new" bike. Looks like you fed one addiction and kicked another? :clapping:

Wow! As a non-mechanical type I am always totally impressed by the work I read about on this forum. Congratulations! May I suggest one more farkle (pharkle) - get a gremlin bell, dude.

You aren't finished.....you're just getting started adding things! Congratulations on quitting the weed!jim
Just a few more items, but they can wait a few more weeks. Dual star grip heaters w/ bmw sport grips,a rear powerlet(dual) or a heat-troller and a starcom will be added, after the new tires of course!

116 hrs w/o a smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About 96 hrs w/o a bad fit, this medicine is the bee's knees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo: I'm 36, as far as bees knees, it sounded funny!

Congrats on both accomplishments! My wife says the "Bees Knees" often. And she's younger than 40. (Actual age withheld to protect the guilty.)

Add sliders and lots of good luck charms.

Keep your wife out of the garage..lol nice bike but the oil is a eye sore in the picture.. something id expect to see under a HD.
