I purchased a 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R today. I named her "Stupid Fast" while riding home from the dealership. Not imaginative, I grant you, but very descriptive!

The FJR is a renaissance bike that has many talents; the ZX is a testosterone-jacked teenager. Its gonna be a great Spring! :yahoo:

You are really going to appreciate how comfortable your FJR is now! Congrats on the new purchase. I can see how the name fits.

Still trying to figure out how to post pictures. Hopefully, this link will work:

I've ordered frame sliders, and have asked Garauld to powder coat the mounting hardware black. I plan to ride her at VIR in May, and will post a report. In the meantime, trying very hard to be an adult...

Here's another attempt at posting pictures:

Hey Guy's,

For what its worth, I'm 60 and run a SV650. at Nelson Ledges in Ohio. It's a great little starter track bike," user friendly" if you know what I mean. I will say though be really careful the first couple of times out. Those inline 4s can get you into trouble really fast if your not ready for the wallop. I'm also pretty sure somebody will be offering some type of school there, some instruction by good teachers will help you improve your skills on the track more quickly. Will keep my "Peepers" out for your ride report.

When I figure out how to post pictures I'll provide some pic's from our May outing. On our April outing we had snow in the morning, not a lot just a few flakes, was 41 when we got started, hows that for" NUTTY". Actually there's 3 of us who own FJR's who race. 2 on SV's and my older brother just bought a GSXR 600, all are track ready. Have a ball!!!!!!!!

Dave
