It's On The Truck

There may be hope on receiving a FJR yet this year. I just got a call from the dealer and mine is on the truck en-route to Denver. PDP Date was May 3, 2005 on a non ABS. There may be hope I will be riding it this month after all.

Still waiting for my '05. Dealer said June and now when I call it is 'any day now, just waiting for the truck'. Getting impatient. Mine is supposed to be coming from a warehouse in Virginia. I''m in NY and I'd go down there to get it if I thought it would do any good.

I'm sure you will let us know when you actually get to ride yours.

NO! I hope it will be in this week. Yamaha stated it "Is on the truck for delivery" when the dealer called them last Tuesday 07/05/05. Maybe the truck got stuck trying to drive across the Ocean. I am not even sure where it is coming from.

So again hopefully this week.

If it's "on the truck", you'll see it soon enough. Is your dealer somewhat remote? Sometimes the truck has to make numerous stops. But in any event you will see it soon. As hard as it was to wait, all of ours came in time and as it has been said before, IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE WAIT! Hang in there dude, at least you have one on the way. Think about the guys who missed the purchase window.

I am using Coyote as a good old friend of mine is a sales person there. They also gave me a fair ??? Trade in on my Buell which will save me some on taxes. I did check around before ordering it and found several on show room floors but instead of paying the "Gold Plated" prices they were asking just thought I could wait a couple of months. It's not like I don't have anything else to ride. When I comes in I am going to give it an oil change at about 50 miles, Put some Farkles on it, and then head west and break it in some. I will let you know.

Yes, for me. Mine arrived at the dealer Thursday, July 7, ready to go on Friday, but it rained. Picked it up Saturday AM and put 400 miles on it over the weekend. See my report in the reviews section if interested.

Well as of today it is still On The Truck. I think they are hiding it from me somewhere. :dribble: If it is not here by next Tuesday I think I am going to take my paperwork around to the other dealers and just buy one off the floor if they will meet the price. :beee: I am short one bike as of yesterday so I need another one NOW. But that is another story.

Yep I finally did that, or the dealer finally did. Yamaha confirmed that it is intrasit from Japan. DOH! :assasin: It should ship from the US warehouse next Tuesday. So It may ????? Be here in a week or two. I should have it by Thanksgiving. :blink:
