Hey Jeff,
Are you in Richlands NC? I see two Richanlds in NC on Streets/Trips - one up in Pisgah near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the other out by the coast.

I am in Harrisburg NC. Some of my favorite rides are up in the North Carolina mountains.

I live in the eastern one, Richlands of Onslow County NC. I am considering taking some weekend service appointments, working out of my brother's garage in Lincolnton NC, for FJRs located west of Raleigh.

I grew up spending most all of my spare time in the mountains. Having been around a great portion of the USA and some southern Canada, there's no place like our mountains on two wheels.

I've been busy. Have you checked your garage lately?

Have you installed the Yamaha factory grips in the past?

Have you installed the Yamaha factory grips in the past?
Not exactly. I've installed aftermarket heated grips using the Yamaha OEM circuit, and I've worked on FJRs with the Yamaha grips already installed, including wiring accessories on FJRs with Yami heated grips.

(I'm joining the campaign against using the word "farkle".) :)

I would be very comfortable installing Yami heated grips. Or maybe you are just looking for specific advice, in which case I'm probably not much help.
