OK Jordylad. I can see you're a little excited. It's OK, calm down. Breath in.... breath out.

Sounds like your helping keep the economy going, thanks.

That's great that you bought the bike, I'm sure Yamaha is also happy. Sorry if you spend too much $$ riding with us, the main expense is over, now it'll just nickel and dime you.

Keep smiling and riding, and enjoy your new purchase.

Jordy, congrats on the '07 - it's the fastest and best looking year for the FJR and the owners are among the smartest and best looking people in the world. ;)

Why not get a G2 Throttle Tube (do a search on this forum). Then you can have something to install at the tech day. :D

**** translate for ME, have you listened to yourself lately?????Also have you ever spoken to a Jordy (Ouch)
If I have to translate for you Richard (and the Yorkshire accent isn't THAT far away from Geordie talk), there's only a couple of words, right? That one that begins with f......... then the sh....... :) :)

I think Fuzzy has fallen down once or twice too many times without a helmet.... Everyone knows that's the credo for the '05 owners.

Bluesman - you obviously don't know what the heck you're talking about! Next time you want to go spouting incorrect information do it somewhere else...................I've fallen down without a helmet MUCH more than once or twice too many times. ;)

we all know the 05's are the quickest, especially the SoCal 05's ( with the exception of Jdog his can't even keep up with my old car).

We never put them to the test though.........

Don't you believe that nickel & dime **** for a minute Jordylad!

It's nothing but big bucks from here on out if you got the fever as bad as it sounds like you do! :dribble:

P.S. Congrats!

Cheers Fuzzy, G2 throttle tube, I'm on it. So that's no coincidence that I happened to buy the best model with the best looking riders, I knew there was a reason I didn't go for the 08 (apart from the $3k discount).

Thanks for all the support everyone. Yah a canny bunch.

OK guys and gals, making headway here. Just ordered the Tank Slapper full protection kit to go with the insurance, sliders & bag reflectors I got yesterday.

Also, just talked to Corona Yamaha about doing the ECU swap for the 06 - 07 off idle surging problem. Yahama are calling it an altitude fix, but the tech said this should solve my problem too. I've read some of the related threads and this seams to help, at least I'm reading that this should be done first. They should have the ECU by Thursday, it's a 15 minute fix so we'll see. If not, I'll have to go the PC111 and/or the G2 throttle tube fix route. Step by step.

Anyone wanna buy a nice 1999 Triumph Sprint ST to help me pay to get my FJR right :confusedsmiley:
