Gone Fishing
Man I hope this one is winding down. Wrestling with PuppyChow was tough, he made a heck of an adversary. He has my respect, I won't be attacking him anytime soon.
I have a little follow-up as well. Mrs. Redfish Hunter had to sit through jury selection yesterday (what timing!) and sat on a criminal jury today. She had to sit through a story that frightened and shook her. She and her fellow jurors entered a guilty verdict and she feels that some justice was done. Deliberation was very very short.
Way off topic, Dad had to have surgery this morning. He had to have his gallbladder removed. Mom wanted everyone to "get together" the night before even though it was a minor surgery. My wife agreed to this and did not tell her mother-in-law that she was disrupting our anniversary dinner. So, my Mom and Dad, my Father-in-law, and one of my Brothers-in-law were all invited to my (wife's) house for the hamburgers that I was tasked to grill. When I came home from work with two dozen roses and a card, they all looked at me like I was crazy. Only then did everyone realize what day it was.
Since Mrs. Redfish Hunter is truly an angel, she says she enjoyed having our close family there for a small anniversary celebration. I do most certainly intend to take Her Royal Hotness out for a nice dinner date very soon. I already made plenty of points with the two dozen roses.
