I just bought my FJR a couple weeks ago, I live in Colorado and it's been extremely nice for the past month. I got to ride for a couple weeks and I absolutely love the bike.

It started snowing last night... damn you bi-polar colorado weather!

= I'm not happy. At least it's friday?

For what it is worth. I too have a 2005 FJR (59,000 miles). Today was supposed to be dry in the afternoon.

Been working outside a bit on the property, and it is alternately raining and sleeting. Be sitting in the garage again, but on the bright side,

have ridin 340 miles already this year. Oh, and the weatherman says maybe a sizable snowstorm this weekend.

I picked my 14A up the first week of December here in OHIO. I have been snowed in too a few times.

I understand.

I feel your pain. Rode my bike to work on wednesday and we are expecting snow here too possibly Sunday night into Monday. I did get to ride in December last year and that was unusual. The skiing pretty much sucked this year and I am ready to put on some miles!

Hey yamadave, I grew up in Scotia and lived there for years till I relocated up here in The Whites 12 yrs. ago.

I bought new all season tires for my car for the trip over Monarch Pass.

I bought me and the son a bunch of cold weather gear.

Last week I drove to Crested Butte to take son skiing for his first time.

High temp of 53F and super dry roads all the way. Ugh.

At least there was still enough snow on the slopes for us to have fun.

Enjoy your odd weather.

As suggested earlier, throw a bunch of money at the problem and buy several accessories to install. Or in the word of the late, great Sam Kinison when talking about the famine in Biafra..... "MOVE!"

It was nice to ride in Florida for a couple weeks, the wife would love to move there.

Riding on ramps for twisty fun would get old quick.

My buddy was sent to Orlando with a $25K raise, lasted 9 months.

He and his wife have 5 bikes, not a cruiser in the mix.

I've been loving the weather here in Colorado lately. 200 miles last weekend, 200 the weekend before, 300 the weekend before that! I'll deal with a little cold now. I figure I got some good riding in so it's only fair. Besides, tomorrow will be in the 50's. just bundle up and ride. Just watch out for snow melt across the road though!

We should get together and ride sometime!

Great thing about the Denver area, you can ride west in the summer, and east in the winter. East sucks for sure, but it beats not riding. I'm quite jealous. I'd love to move there.

It was chilly and in the 30's when I rode in to work this morning. It was worth it for the 68F and sunny ride home though.

Oh, sorry, was I not supposed to post that?
