Yes Glacier! I want to ride TGTTSR. Crossed it for the first time in 80.

Great pics guys.

One of those is going to end up as the wallpaper on my work computer tomorrow. Just need to decide which one.

Eat s**t pashnit, those pics are great! Thanks for sharing O"vale and by the way what kind of camera are you using?

I have to say that it was a ride report on Pashnit that made me decide a few things:

1. To upgrade to a bike that I knew would be reliable and good for long distance touring

2. Upgrade to a bike that Sherri would be comfortable on too

3. Get a decent camera and do some ride reporting

4. All of this lead to me finding this forum

Here's one of the best ride reports I've ever read:

Chandi's ride from Santa Rosa to the Artic Circle

Actually that is an ariticle that was created subsequent to the ride report.

Actually the only reason I used the pashnit line is because it rhymed. Pashnit has a fantastic site and pretty much sets the standard for internet MC photo journalism IMO and your pics are right up there with the best of them. That's all I was trying to say. In a crude, drunken, tasteless sort of way... :dribble:

Wow!! This website really rocks. I put a fair amount of effort into mine for the trip I took last fall, but this is better. Good tips for next time!!

O'vale

Thanks for sharing pics.

All the trip report pics in this site (..and of course the people ;-)) helped me make my decision to buy the FJR...one of the better decisions made by me in 2006.

I guess I'll put a link to this post when I ask Yamaha if they want a sport touring writer/photography team :)
