Cat's got skills. I sure as phuck wouldn't want to do that kind of riding on the street or on the FJR, but hey, that's me.

It does however show me just how close the sidebags come to touching down when leaned over that far.

Looks like the guy's trying way to hard to get a knee down, at the cost of being smooth. His form needs alot of work IMO.

clearly more interested in the show than picking a good line or being smooth through the corners. his choice of puck material (meant to make sparks) proves that.

It seems like the guy is showing you can get a knee down on an fjr... It would have been alot easier for him if he was at say... Deals Gap.

I think the reason he seems to be riding erratically is because to get that much lean on sweepers like that you'd have to be doing triple digits, kinda the way some people ride the Cherohala Skyway. Seemed like he stayed in pretty good control while trying to get the excessive lean.

ride safe, noob

My knee touched down in a parking lot at 20mph doing the lee parks class...u dont need to be doing triple digits. the more weight shift to the inside the less the bike needs to lean...more corner clearance.

Look at my knee (hit pause at 7 seconds) You can hear the pegs drag through the whole curve. Hit pause again at 8 seconds to check out the lean angle.

Could I drag a knee, yes, but I'mm already draggin the bike so whats the point?

Watch the first few secs and you'll know why

I think he just had really long legs. hell his knees are about as far to the gound as the balls of my fee. :headbonk: Any way his form sucked. had his long ass knee to the ground but looked like he was trying to climb up the tank

JB? :dntknw:
Heartbeat rising, palms getting sweaty, fight or flight feelings coming on.... This thread is giving me post-traumatic stress disorder. Knee sliders makes me think of knee puck, and knee puck rhymes with....

I can't do this again. I think I may have to leave the forum for another three months or so, just to calm down a bit.

Sorry but I have to agree with one of the responses from the site;

Crap lines in this vid. Looks like someone strenuously trying to make sparks with his shiny, new [titanium] pucks at any cost.
The dude wasn't even turning any corners let alone at speed! Silly rabbit's going all side-saddle for nothing. :glare:

Definitely all show and no go. Now if that rider was a chik!!! :)

That kind of flexibility could be useful!

You can easily tell that their speeds are not that excessive. The cops passed him in one section and they never turned on blues or gave him a second glance. Lots of other tell-tale signs like the lack of similar lean angle from the lead bike.

Recaption the video to "Nice sparks". That's more appropriate IMO.

Am I mistaken or was that rev limiter to brake lock up? Sounded like you locked up your rear tire just as you entered the corner, man you were flying. What gear were you in? Nice line on the corner though. I'm impressed. :clapping:

Looks like his knee could've been used as a kickstand.
