Impressive....that he can hang off the bike that far.....hardly achieving much, just swerving now and again to get the turn tight enough to touch down. the FJR isn't built to do this sort of stunt on so why bother trying?

I had an FZR some years ago which was much closer to a race bike than the FJR and even that with a standard pipe on was difficult to get low enough to drag a knee. Just at the same lean angle the pipe would ground and lift the rear wheel....which was fun. Brought me off eventually, I stopped doing it then.

Surely this is what knee sliders are for?

+1 :yahoo: This is why I ride sport bikes and sport touring bikes. I want to lean, not necessarily drag stuff. There is no way I am going to ride on the street to the level I did on the race track. Besides, knee pucks are expensive to just grind them away. You think you were buying carbon fiber or chrome...not leather or plastic.

not to hijack too much....

What is the keyword i need to put in my TiVo so I can watch some of those pretty motorcycles flopping over like that?

Previous post was exactly correct...MotoGP. You'll notice it is sometimes called MotoGP World Championship (this differentiates it from the 250cc class in MotoGP. You may also want to look for AMA Superbike, AMA SuperSport, and FIM World Superbike.

And remember folks, these races are rarely shown live, so if you feel the need to post results before the race airs be sure to include "*** SPOILER ****" in the title of your post. Some of us (me) very deliberately avoid quite a few web sites starting at around noon on any Saturday prior to a race being aired (delayed) on Sunday.
