I sent you a PM with images of the Givi V46 on my bike. Check your msg's if you have not already done so.
When I saw that Givi roller case I thought....that would be perfect for what you said you needed.
You can get bags that go inside the Givi hard cases just like the bags for the FJR side cases. If you go with a Givi top case you would not have to carry around the case, just pull the bag out and be on your way.
I don't remember what size the v-strom cases were anymore but I suspect the side cases are pletty close between the two bikes. Is that correct? And it's not just how many liters, but the shape too.
Regarding a case that holds two FF helmets, the Givi E55 is not that much larger than the V46 when you look at them on the bike. So the V46 in the pictures of my bike would be pretty close to what the E55 would look like on the bike.
I don't remember if you mentioned it but does your back pack fit in the factory side cases? If it does then maybe just the Givi roller would give you the extra you are looking for. Or maybe the V46 with a bag that will go into it.
The one nice thing about the Givi mounting system is you can switch cases all you want to depending on the intended use.
Oh, I just noticed you listed three different brands. Of those three, if you have not already figured it out, I prefer Givi. And if you go with Givi get their full size rack, not just the plate that bolts in place of the factory rear rack.
