In honor of Sgt. James Regan 3/75 ranger battalion and also Pvt. John Henderson 3/75 ranger battalion and all those who have paid the ultimate price. My son served along side these gentlemen.

Take a few minutes of your day today and give thanks for all our service members.

Thanks,

Dave

I'm sure we've all been touched in some way by the loss of a family member in our armed services. Some distant, some closer to home. My cousin Tony is one of those people. I met him in the summer of 1968, just a few short months before his disappearance. My Dad never really did get over the loss: Dad was the oldest boy in his family and Tony, being 12 yrs older, was the big brother Dad didn't have.

Still MIA. Never forgotten. https://www.vvmf.org/Wall-of-Faces/49197/DOMENICK-A-SPINELLI

Today I called the mom of a soldier who was KIA in Iraq while executing orders I had developed. Caught her and the rest of the family, including the daughter he never met, at his grave site in Soldotna, AK. Every time I talk to her she is so thankful for the call and proud of her son; never a hint of bitterness. RIP SSG David Douthit, Scout Platoon, 1-34 Armor, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division.

I served briefly with Capt. Versace in 1963 in the Mekong Delta. My American Flag goes out at sunrise and is retired at sundown everyday in his honor.
