Ahem, hem, hem... How does a public servant afford all these incredible expensive toys?

You bilkin' those old laydies before you'll pull em from the burning flames of doom? Or does Momma have a big trust fund?

I guess!

"OK. If you want to get out of this burning building alive, just sign this form right here. Don't worry, it's just standard proceedure."

LA County Firefighter's toys?

OMG!!! I'm working as a firefighter in the wrong state! The only way I could have these toys is if I started slinging rock. Maybe I could cash in on the top midwest meth-market. Seriously, I THOUGHT we were generally underpaid. Good for him.

Can't complain about my job. We do make decent money in California as Fireman. Cost of Living is high though. Also the Kenworth T2000 truck was purchased for $26k. I dare say that is less than most of you have into your Pickups... I don't own the Kenworth anymore I sold it for a Volvo 770 then sold that one and have down graded to a Dodge Diesel Dually. I loved pulling my Trailer with the Class 8 truck. Nothing safer on the road for your family. I will someday get another but it was hard to justify having a truck that was used as a dedicated puller....

As for the comment made about not owning an FJR. That is true and I hope it won't be long. We are moving back to California from Utah (370 mile commute to work). I promised the wife I would not buy anything until our home is finished and we are moved in. Come on May hurry up and get here....
