Hi all,

As of tomorrow morning after I transfer title of my 05 ABS to a new FJR rider, I'm in the market for an 06 AE. :yahoo:

If you've heard of or seen any at dealers, please let me know either on this thread or back channel at reidhester at lobo dot net. Thanks.

(I've already contacted several dealers in NM and none even had any ordered for customers.)

https://www.yocracing.com in Rancho Cucamonga CA has one of the floor. call 909 987 2411, tell them TurboDave told you about the bike. Great dealer and they may deal with you.

I got my 05 from Deming Cycle. I live in Placitas.

The owner ordered one in his name on the PDP. They did me right--it was worth the drive. $1500 less than Bobby J's.

I don't know if they have any 06's. I bought the 05 off the show room floor.

They sold me the YES for $450 (sure, that is $61 more than D&H, but they are local and I like them....)

Scythian, Thanks for the lead. I got my 05 from Jeff in Deming and had called him about an AE. He said he didn't have any AEs but had ordered an A for himself.

Looking at your profile I'd guess you're Scottish? Not many people like bagpipes  (I do though).

TurboDave, thanks for your lead too.

Update 2:15pm PDT:

Thanks all,

Just put a deposit on an AE in Hobbs NM for $14,000 otd :yahoo: It's the last one they had though.

There is an new 06 AE sitting on the floor at Motion Sports in Dallas, Texas (214) 503-6262 ask for Steve (the owner) he's just greedy enough he might make a deal if he doesn't have to pay his salesman a comiss.........anyway, the reason the bikes still sitting there is I think they're asking somewhere around $14,800. Call em up, don't tell em your out of state,,,,then tell them you give em $14,000 right now for the bike, and yea, you could save $500 more if you wanted to drive to Texarkana, but it ain't worth $500.......now do they want to sell the bike or not..

Heck, why don't you just wait for an 07? Not only could you buy one for around $13,500 form D & H in Alabama...but I hear the O7s are gonna come stock with Sirus radio...

Nice! Stay in touch. I've been dying to see an AE! People can bitch and whine, but electronic shift assist is the wave of the future.

I play the bagpipe semi-professionally.
