Uhm, guys.. This thread isn't about loud pipes. It's about the consequences of enforcement of those with the pipes. Who would have thought that cracking down on 'excessive noise' would ultimately harm little kids in need.
Oh now I get it ,,, it's about ******** with loud pipes screwing it up for motorcycle riders AND screwing it up for Kids..... :angry2: :angry2:

Gosh, your post is very interesting.

I never though about it quite like that before.

Next thing ya know someone will think having really tall handle bars and a front wheel 4+ feet from the neck will improve handling and make their bike much safer

Loud pipes are just loud

In time they may save lives because all of us who used to ride won't be anymore because the ******** pushed the limit and had our toys make illegal

Funny story

Had a neighbor up the street who had a big diesel truck with a huge pipe on it

I guess 4 to 5 in

Well every morning he would get up at 0 fn early and fire it up

Then one day the truck wouldn't run start

Someone had enough and took expanding spray insulation and filled the pipe

The American Motorcyclist Association is on this stuff. You got an AMA, uh, CMA, up in them there hills? I'd get hold of 'em if so.... I am so done with Harley Riders that I finally threw away all my Harley t-shirts. Seriously. I've had it. The bikes are cool. The riders are pricks. (With respects to my Harley friends who are decidedly not pricks, as well as those who are not my friends who are not, pricks that is. )
