Ed Seeber was slated to compete in the novice "Clueless" class.
Jim Minta took the runner-up award slated for the expert "Compass" class, since all the qualifying local riders were in the novice class, hence the expert class was not relevant. Jim was originally slated to compete in the non-resident "Alien" class, but was additionally a novice.
