I just got off the phone with MAC tools and it's on back order and is supposed to ship the 22nd of this month?

Has anybody used the Mac Tools MN08-0040 to do their throttle body syncronizing?The price is only $11.99. I really don't want to pay $95.00 for the Motion Pro unit.

Wow, I love tools and working on my bike as much as I love riding it. I just bought and received my Morgan CarbTune on Friday and did my TBS sync. (what an improvement, used 3dogs method). Great price on the Mac Tool, I think I'll give it a try and compare results w/CarbTune.

I hope I get mine before Labor Day weekend!!

I ordered Grip Puppies / Vista Cruise and they took almost 2-1/2 weeks to receive.

The Grip Puppies work perfect for me, but the damn Vista Cruise doesn't even come close to fitting.

I hate paying for products and not receiving them for 2-4 weeks.

They need to post back orders on their website.

Wish I would have seen this before I just shot them an email. Wondered why it was not showing any status change on my order. It has been an week and nothing. You think they would update the order as back ordered with an estimated shipping date.

Oh well I can wait a couple of weeks. Its not like my Feejer is going to blow up without it!

Just don't be a bumb A$$ like me and have an AE and cut a $200 Grip Warmer. When I saw the little wires I thought....man don't tell anyone how dumb you are...So...go for it...I just through myself under the buss.

Then I installed the AudioVox CC. Works great. When it gets colder out ...I'll get the grip.

just ordered my mac carb tuner... i remember on my conc what a huge difference it made to keep the carbs sync'd. i imagine on the feejer it is even more critical.

wow - those directions for the vista cruise are wacked... got read them again, but it looked like a mess trying to get a good fit on that little rig.

So i got my order from MAC today. Not Good, the only thing in the package was the brass adapters, Nothing else? I guess I'm going to have to call them. Anyone else get a package today?

Nope, mine still shows not shipped. I intend to call tomorrow and I will insist that they verify the order is for the correct part. My part number is MN08-0040 6mm Economy Carb Tuner. Same picture as you posted. I will let you know if they have anything interesting to say.

Well I got bad news for ya, the little zip lock bag with the 4 adapters in it has that same exact part number on it. And on the packing slip it say "6MM Adapter Set" instead of "6MM Ecomony Carb Tuner" like on the website?

I emailed Mac Tools to cancel my order.

It's been almost a month and no product.

I also told them to fix their website ASAP.

I guess if it sounds to good to be true...it really is!!

Four 5 mm threaded brass adapters (two long, two short) are included with the tuner. It's assumed that many Honda and Suzuki engines can use these adapters. However, adapters aren't needed for the FJR -- connect the hoses directly on the throttle bodies.

What you may have ordered is a set of four 6 mm threaded brass adapters which are not included with the carb tuner. These probably aren't ordered very often so MacTools may not keep them in their normal inventory. Hence your several weeks delay in receiving them.

He says, "My homemade manometer, which is filled with water". And then just syncs them up. Super simple, and looks like about a $4.00 tool.

Well Thanks for posting the wrong link for us to buy you big dummy!! :lol: Just kidding, I'm going to contact them and see if I can return my 6MM Crack Pipes? Otherwise I will throw them on Ebay and cut my losses.
