Me and my FJR got spanked today

Looking Forward to checking out Mt Ham/Mines rd on the FJR. My Beemer does OK there, but the H/D is like 'rasslin' a bear thru most of it!

But if you think "determination" will save the day when riding with other much sportier bikes, you're a hazard to yourself and the ones you're riding with... or at least a source of humor.

I agree with that. But I think that people are trying to say "Skill" will defeat a superior bike almost every time unless we are talking a Ultra Classic against a R1 in a drag race.

Learning, practice, education, all play a part in this. "SKill" and practice will save your *** when your but puckers and you have to deal with a but pucker moment. I agree riding hard just because the throttle has more turn in it will killl a person pretty fast.
