If any can help out, please be VERY careful.

Thats fucksuey man  I was there, I'd be a lookin'. Good luck, hope she turns up ok.

Although I'm on the East Coast, I'm in L.E. for 23 years and if you might think of anything I can do to help, I'll give it a shot for ya.

I forwarded the info to a buddy of mine here in SoCal who is a pilot with way too much money and time on his hands. I'm sure he'll be able to assist with an eye in the sky.

Thanks for posting the link.

I posted on www.ferrarichat.com where I am a member.

I posted in Nor Cal, So Cal and Off topic.

There are a lot of people who drive all over the place in their Ferrari's and maybe have seen her or the bike.

Search on www.ferrarichat.com for a post by XJARGH! which is me.

I asked them to forward as necessary.

Tim

Please keep us posted. I've been following this here and on other sights as well. JB

I read about this on another forum. The thread extended to anyone riding solo. File a flight plan, stick with it, notify wife, gf, etc. if that plan changes. Also, program numbers into your phone-ICE1, ICE2 etc. for in case of emergency contacts. If people know what roads you were taking, its a lot easier to find you if you go off the road out of sight somewhere. I ride a lot of solo, and to be honest with you, never thought much about it until this incident. There's a lot that can happen out there.

If the search extends to So Cal area, please let me know. My family is praying for Melinda and her family. We hope all turns out well.

Melinda was found. I'm sorry to report that she is not alive.

My prayers go out to her, her family and her friends.

Fawk!!! I was hoping for the best but ... RIP big red, she went out doing what she loved.

That area of costal highway 1 has a lot of steep areas.. it's a long way down over the edge.

When I read the posts, this ending stuck in my mind having ridden some of the canyon roads a while back. Hopefully she passed w/o alot of suffering, doing what she loved.

Sad. I'll give her this though; I wouldn't have the cajones to off myself that way. I can't imagine what she was thinking/feeling/going through to make her conclude her life that way...
