Well last night Janet said she thought I was going somewhere this weekend. I said, "No, but if you want me to I will!" I would want to ride down Friday and stay until Sunday if I did. Going to check and see if there is any availability at Hungry Mother.

WTF?!? You told me you would be available so I could swing by and pick up my Carbtune.

I will make sure it is available if you stop by. If Janet goes with me I can give you the garage code. I have a keypad opener.

I'm definitely not at all surprised. It's very close to the weekend as it is. I'm afraid that I'd be out. I'm able to afford camping or cabin. Anything beyond is probably out of my reach.

& Bob, I may be interested in that. I'm siting here @ my desk staring @ a brandy spankin PR2 rear tire. I would need to be on the ball to get it mounted & ready... but I could probably do that. Also, I wouldn't be leaving until Saturday morning & returning on Monday the 30th, Memorial Day.

There is availability at the Americas Best in Marion for $68 a night.

Arrggghh.....where were you guys 2 weeks ago? I had the reservation service on the phone and was close to pulling the trigger on one of the 6 bed cabins.

well, it did get me in gear to get a tire & get it mounted. I found a gentleman on Craigslist that will do it for $30 off the bike. Seems that you cannot do any better than that around here. I told him that I'd be over tomorrow night... tonight dinner with mom. You guys entering VA soil... have fun & be careful!

Wow! What a weekend! What started out looking like a wash out turned out to be two days of moto goodness.
Monday started out foggy and cool but by mid-morning the skies opened up and the rest of the day was a spectacular mostly sunny and 75.



We rode a lot but stopped to take pics only a little.
