OK, it's been a while since I've seen any groups gatherings in the Metroplex so I'm putting together a ride this coming Sunday (if the weather holds). We'll meet up Sunday morning in Allen, TX - probably at the Starbucks on the NorthEast corner of Bethany and 75. I have a GPX file if anyone wants to see the route - basically it'll be ~250 miles and 4 1/2 hours. So, who's wit me?!?!?!?!

Fuzzie,

I haven't been out in ages and my plans for this weekend got all sorts of screwy so if the weather holds then I think you can count me in. My luck lately has been pretty crappy but this should work for me. About what time where you thinking of getting together?

Marcos, I was thinking about getting together at 9:30. Does that work for you?

That should be fine. Since I'm still gps-less in Bedford, I can't work with the GPX file, can you give me a rough idea of the route you've planned?

Looks good. Hope this wet stuff moves through. Assuming it does I'll see you in Allen at 9:30 at the Starbuck's on the NorthEast corner of Bethany and 75.

They say that Sunday's going to be sunny and cool. But THEY have lied to me before.

Asking my time manager/financial planner/social planner/bed warmer/human calendar if there are any current plans for this weekend. If not, then I'm game. Met Marcos once, not sure if I met Fuzzy before (though I've felt warm and fuzzy before).

I haven't met too many forum members - a couple at a Motocops Championship competition in Frisco a couple years ago and a couple on a ride a year ago. But the more the merrier.

Hope you can make it out.

Sounds good to me. I'm planning to get there early to top off and have my coffee and be ready to go at 9:30.

Yep, I gotsta have my coffee and muffin before a trip so I'll be there a little early as well.

Had a great ride today. Sorry, but I didn't bring my camera so no piccies. Oddly spent the day dodging turtles on the road and fighting the wind. Otherwise, it was a safe, sane, spectacular ride.

Oh, and I found my dead GPS unit was related to a dead power source... time to pull the fairing off and check the fuse for that switched power supply.

I had a great time too, even with all the turtles and dogs and birds. At least the turtles don't move very quickly. Sorry about the jaunt up 69 to 2194 out of Greenville. If I had thought about it I would have just taken 380 out of Greenville since the ride was longer than planned but I just followed the GPS route and didn't even think about it.

It was a pleasure riding with everybody and I hope to do it again sometime.
