Y'know, I was thinking the same thing when I saw his birthday listed.

You'd think Mark would have posted, being the proud dad, and all.

Just got off the phone with gearman from Canton, OH...

David is purchasing the XJ600....here is a post I just posted on FJRider in response to a local FJR garage day meet.

BTW, I can't make it next weekend either. Next Sunday, David and I are travelling out to Ohio to ride back David's new XJ600 that he just arranged to buy. I just got off the phone with Kevin/gearman, and things are all set. We'll drive out a week from Sunday and ride/drive back on Monday.
David turned 18 today...so now he needs to head down to the DMV and get his M endorsement. His birthday present/protective father stuff:

I have just ordered a slew of stuff from New Enough for him, Neon-Hi Viz Scorpion Helmet, Hi Viz Tourmaster All Season 3/4 jacket, Sidi waterproof boots, Held Steve gloves( I'll use 'em to replace mine if he doesn't want 'em). Since he's gonna be commuting to COD, probably get him some Kevlar jeans that he can wear in class.

Once we get back from Ohio, it'll be parking lot drills time.

So yes, that boy is 18 today.

He was 11 when I got my FJR.

I foresee trips out to western Illinois, along the Mississippi, and SW WI in our future.
