Mirrors & steering head nut ?

Two quick questions,

What is the size of the steering head nut, need to remove it to install risiers..

Also what all needs to be removed to get to the mirrors off, or whats the best way to get them off ?

Steering Stem Nut Size and Torque<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); ">'03 = 32mm<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); ">'04-'05 = 36mm<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 252); ">Preferably use a 6 sided socket to reduce the change of marring. 12 will work if used delicately.

And to remove the mirrors , just remove the black side panels (Panel A, B, C, & D) and you'll see 2 bolts on either side. I think they are 10mm.

06 would also be 36mm. I bought the socket last week to install the riser but ended up having the dealer does it since they service the recall (ignition switch) and need to remove the triple tree anyway. Removing the black panels to get to the mirror wasn't too bad but install them back is a real pain. Believe me. I hated it. I wish Yamaha put some more thoughts into designing those panels for the sake of easy bike maintenance. It should haven't been that difficult.
