Missed Another Deal by an Hour

Saw a pair of FZ-1 mirrors go here an hour too late yesterday. Tough to monitor the For Sale posts ever minute, dang it. I bought a cheapo pair of knockoff mirrors on ebay or somewhere a while back, and they were a bad investment. Won't stay adjusted, basically. Sometimes being a cheapskate doesn't pay off.

And yes, I know I could just go get a new set, but I thought I'd ask--see if anybody with a pair of OEM FZ-1 mirrors (that will fit a Gen I) is looking to change for some reason. I'd like 'em. Might apply some stock '05 mirrors on the deal, in case somebody else just wants to go back? Worth asking, I suppose. Or I'd just buy them off you without the trade. That was an afterthought. Shoot me a PM?

Above link is for the late model FZ1 mirrors (2006+) part number 3C3-26290-00-00 and 3C3-26280-00-00, which are more expensive for some reason. Zanoti's discounted price for them is 84.31 each, so the sellers price of 90 for the pair is good.

Most of us bought the early gen FZ1 mirrors (2001-2005) part numbers 5LV-26280-00-00 and 5LV-26290-00-00, which are available at Zanoti's for $45 each. I know these 5LV ones fit perfectly. Not sure about the 3C3's

Heck no. That is a very good price for those mirrors. They cost twice as much as that even with the Zanotti discount. I'm just not sure what the difference is between FZ1 1st gen and FZ1 2nd gen mirrors.

Shorter stalks than Gen 1 maybe? I remember reading someone saying they were disappointed. I have been waiting patiently for a Gen 1 FZ1 mirror set also. One of these days, it is not so high on my list, I can still see behind me ok, although the elbows do cover 1/3 of the mirror.
