Aah! the scene of a quite famous Helicopter crash while rescuing some climbers eh? Beautiful part of the world.

As you can tell, Skiing was a little slow that day. The lack of snow does make finding crashed helicopter parts easier though.

Nice shot of Mt. Hood, What is the elevation where this picture was taken? I'd sure like to cruise that area sometime soon!

I'd say the elevation is about 7500- 8000 feet. Timberline Lodge is just around the corner at the end of the road.
