Bernie Leadon or Randy Meisner...can't remember which.

My first thought was Leadon and Meisner wasn't really an asshole, he just had serious "stage fright" and didn't want to sing any more.

The REAL assholes in the Eagles are/were Frey and Henley. Of course, Leadon's replacement, Don Felder, also held a degree in Advanced Assholery. :D

who was the front man for Jo Jo Gunn ???????????????????????
Randy California.

Blah... Howie got it. I checked after I guessed (wrongly), and I'd never even heard of Jo Jo Gunne before.

Hmmm... I'm using all the power of the intarwebs and I still can't get this one.

It's true though... both of the guys that Howie named were also on the second album.

I have an idea who iyou might be going for, as he was a co-writer of lyrics on the 1st album, but I'm not sure he was ever a member of the band or how much of an asshole he was.

I got a pretty good question...........

What band is responsable for CAT Scanners?

Sorry but your memory or search-fu is wrong. JB was NEVER a member of the Eagles...and Fred's guess of Joe Walsh was NOT a very good guess (sorry, Fred). Joe is STILL a member of the Eagles.

He sang lead vocal on the original "Take it Easy" on their first album. Glen Frey sung it every time after that. I beg to differ, Sir! :)

Howie, I knew Joe Walsh was a bad guess already. I'm not very good at music trivia. Guess my head is too full of other useless stuff. ;)

So anyway, the question may have been flawed. Let's move on to another question.

And from now on, let's say that you need to find corroboration of the trivial fact before you ask a new question?

Agreed, there was waaay too much weed floating around back in the day anyway. :)

There was NO member of the EAGLES with the initials "JB".
Yeah, you're right. magicmaker is referring to Jackson Brown, who wrote about half of "Take It Easy". He was Glenn Frey's next door neighbor and Frey helped him finish the lyrics on it.

I think Vic (mm) is thinking of Julio Banderas (JB) who was lead singer of "Los Eagles" a semi-popular Puerto RIcan band of the early 70s. :p :p

Alright, since I sort of guessed where he was going I'll throw out an easy one to keep this going...

What 2 founding members of Jefferson Airplane spun off to form the group Hot Tuna?
