He sang lead vocal on the original "Take it Easy" on their first album. Glen Frey sung it every time after that. I beg to differ, Sir!

Yeah, you're right. magicmaker is referring to Jackson Brown, who wrote about half of "Take It Easy". He was Glenn Frey's next door neighbor and Frey helped him finish the lyrics on it.

I think Vic (mm) is thinking of Julio Banderas (JB) who was lead singer of "Los Eagles" a semi-popular Puerto RIcan band of the early 70s.
