My 2014 is freighting it's way east. Waiting is awful.

You watch, it's going to start snowing and not stop until June. I just hope to get the bike into the garage safe and sound. I'll put my sleeping bag out there, snuggle up tight...

Hopefully not, for your sake. We usually get a few 30+F days in winter without ice or snow on the ground for some colder weather riding.

Pack it up on the trailer when it arrives, and common down for a short vacation. Wall to wall sunshine and temps around 75-80 every day. Standard outfit for putting up Christmas lights: shorts and a tshirt.

........I waited 5 months for my '13. 6 months on my '05 under the special order program.

The wait on the '05 really hurt; ever bought a bike that you had only looked at from a distance and never sat on? Then wait 6 months wondering if you made a mistake?

Congrats on the '14

Congrats on the new ride. You'll get a few chances to put some break in miles on her. I'm generally able to get at least one ride in every month.

Picked up the bike today. Martinsburg Yamaha were spookily cooperative and nice and helpful. Damn, what a great place, price, trade in.

No, I had not ever been there before this purchase. Highly recommended.

Guys, the red you see in all the posts posted does not accurate depict the true color of the bike! It is even better in person...and yes, it is hot!!

I hear ya on the "waiting is the hardest part" front. Ordered mine at the end of November...going on six weeks now. On the other hand, it ain't great riding weather, even with the Gerbings. So best to let it stay warm and dry in the shipping container as it wends its way from the Western Pacific.

DANG! I got the OK from the war department to get a Red 14 tonight. Now I have to figure out some logistics and how to afford it.

Man... I never thought i would say this, But i see a new FJR in my future. They finally changed enough for me to justify upgrading my 05 non abs.

Lets see what the 2015 looks like. Yeah, I like the sound of that. one year to save my pennies!
