Took her out for a short ride before winter hits. I think I'm going to like this. That triple is amazingly smooth, powerful and plenty of torque.

Don't know yet. It's a whole new ballgame, confusing as hell. Any reccomendations are welcome. Was looking at heideneua k60 or tkc70.
Both good choices 'junior, depends on intended use. Ran a set of TKC70s on the Tenere and liked them a lot, plus they're radials. Good street manners and very confidence inspiring in the dirt. Front cupped and was removed at ~5,000 miles but I've figured out the cause of that. Will run them again.

Inherited a set of K60s from the recent WeeStrom purchase for son. Rough as a cobb on the street and felt pretty slippery on wet roads. Initial impression wasn't very warm and fuzzy...some folks like them a lot.

Fred, for what we are planning the K60 is overkill, loud and there is a reason the Beemer Boys have nick named them "Slideandhow" JSNS. I'm going with the TKC 70 which are great on the road, confidence inspiring in fact, good on gravel and dirt, "slippery than two eels phucking in a bucket of snot" in mud. We will likely see gravel but little "mud". YMMV
